NEW SERVICE

If you are moving or building a new home in Thumb Electric Cooperative’s service area, you will need to apply for service. If you are a member of TEC, you will not need to take out a membership. If you are not a member of TEC, you will need to pay a one-time membership fee of $5.00. The hookup fee for the new service is $100.00.  (NOTE:  Overhead and Underground line extension fees may apply.)

Thumb Electric Cooperative wants your new home transition to be successful. Having the following information ready is helpful when applying for service: county, township and section number, subdivision and lot number, road name and daytime phone number.
