Transfer Service Application
The Applicant hereby applies for membership in and agrees to purchase electric energy from Thumb Electric Cooperative (hereinafter called the "Cooperative"), upon the following terms and conditions:
The Applicant will pay to the Cooperative the sum of $5.00 which, if this application is accepted by the Cooperative, will constitute the Applicant's Membership Fee and is not refundable upon termination of this contract.
The Applicant agrees to purchase electric energy at rates established or to be established by the Board of Directors and such rates may include the cost of a subscription to "The Michigan Country Lines" magazine.
The Applicant will comply with and be bound by the Articles of Incorporation, the By-Laws and Amendments thereto and such Rules and Regulations as may he adopted by the Board of Directors
Subject to the Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition Act of the United States and any existing easements over and across the applicant's property in favor of the Cooperative, applicant will grant the Cooperative full authority to enter upon the premises from time to time for the purpose of placing, constructing, operating, repairing, extending, replacing, and maintaining its transmission, distribution, and/or serving systems over, under, or across such premises; and to cut out, remove, and trim trees or shrubbery essential to maintaining electric service at the sole discretion of the Cooperative; and to permit entry in and upon said premises to remove said Cooperative's property upon termination of this contract.
